Welcome
For Ambulance Personnel
For University Students
You are viewing these web pages as you have completed or are interested in completing the Ambulance Workplace Stressors: The Health Impacts on our Ambulance
Personnel
survey. For University Students, the results to  the responses are listed on the Student Results page.  A break down of student responses and universities that
participated can be also be found there.

If you  have completed  the survey.  Thank you, you  have contributed  to an  important  area of  research  that aims  to limit  mental stresses  placed on  our ambulance
personnel.  Your results  were vital  as the  control group as  it gave  the researchers  a level we  could compare  emergency personnel  to. The data  obtained through this
research could assist the emergency services throughout Australasia. Below is a link that can be forwarded on to other University students if you wish.

If you have not completed the survey.  Please click on  the below link  or cut  and  paste the  link  into  your web browser  to participate,  if you know  of other  University
students personnel that would wish to complete the survey, please forward the link to those individuals.

These web pages are designed for you to follow the progress of the research. Initially information on the number of participants completing the surveys will be available, as
times goes on actual data will be disseminated. NO individual results or identifying data will be published.
Your responses to these surveys will assist in a better understanding of stresses within the emergency service personnel community (specifically the Ambulance field). From
your responses recommendations can be made to potentially limit Acute Stress Disorder (ASD) and Post Traumatic  Stress Disorder (PTSD) presentations within Ambulance
Services across Australasia. A conclusion may also be drawn as to how  susceptible new medical emergency responders  are too stressful incidents and how those stresses
may an impact upon them. By performing a state by state comparison,  correlations can be made between reported ASD and PTSD rates within the individual services. Data
from your survey responses  matched against current initiatives can be measured to ascertain what individual state and territories are doing to combat these issues.
Thank you
